The filter material of the multi-media filter should have sufficient chemical stability. The relative density and particle size of each medium should be different. The relative density of anthracite used in the double-layer filter filter composed of anthracite and quartz sand is 1.4. -1.6, particle size is 0.8-1.8mm, quartz sand relative density is 2.6-2.65, particle size is 0.5-1.2mm; 3-layer filter filter can use manganese sand, magnetite in addition to the above two kinds of filter materials Such heavy ore has a relative density of 4.7-5.0 and a particle size of 0.5-4 mm.
Multi-Media filters are designed for enhanced water quality filtration for the removal of organic and inorganic suspended solids down to 5 microns.
Multi-Media filters may be used as a stand-alone system or in
conjunction with or as a pretreatment for other filtration technologies.
The Multi-Media Filtration Systems utilize a vertical side shell depth of 60" with accompanied reverse stacked medias for progressive filtration through the filtration system.
Industrial media filters utilize our simple backwash system for ease of
operation and consistent water quality.
